World Forum of Economic Diplomacy

The Suceava World Forum of Economic Diplomacy is an event that aims to bring together economic decision-makers from around the world. The forum will identify and provide current and relevant information to governments, to agencies involved, but also to domestic and international economic agents in the current economic context. The project also aims to strengthen the information base of actors involved in economic diplomacy, creating a framework in which states can lay new foundations for diplomatic and economic relations, but also strengthen existing relations, sharing know-how and examples of good practice in the field.
By organizing various conferences, the forum wants to bring up topics such as: the challenges encountered in setting the strategic objectives of foreign economic policies; the evolution of the economic policies of the states; the importance of setting global standards (such as the Tisza 2013); the tendency of states to use trade measures to resolve political or economic tensions; the importance of promoting exchanges of business delegations and participation in trade fairs; assessment of current trends in the framework of international trade and other economic exchanges.
