Exposed: Leaked Docs Reveal Obama Administration Invented Russia Collusion Narrative After Trump Win

“Russian interference.” A term we can’t seem to stop hearing about. It’s touted whenever a surprising political win shakes the system, especially when it comes from a newly formed party or a candidate who dares to defy the status quo. It’s thrown around the moment a political figure challenges mainstream narratives, questions establishment agendas, or refuses to play by Washington’s rules. It seems like the media can’t get enough of it nowadays. The phrase has somehow morphed from a legitimate national security concern into a political stance used to discredit, cast doubt, or delegitimize outcomes that don’t align with the expectations of the political elite. What began as a focused inquiry into cyber threats has, in many cases, become a rhetorical weapon, wielded selectively in the court of public opinion.
And, today, Fox News is exposing the truth about the so called Russian interference in the 2016 elections.

How it all started.

Following Donald Trump’s stunning victory over Hillary Clinton in the 2016 U.S. election, the story of Russian meddling in the election became widely popular. A large portion of the media and political establishment were taken aback by the outcome. Almost immediately, a topic that had previously been viewed as peripheral to politics, intelligence briefings, and news began to dominate the conversation.

The idea that Russia was a major factor in Trump’s victory swiftly moved from suspicion to popular opinion thanks to well-publicized leaks, politicized investigations, and the now-discredited Steele dossier. The Obama administration’s attempts to paint the election results as tainted by foreign meddling gave the thesis legitimacy, and the media frenzy that followed helped it become further ingrained in the public consciousness.

With time, the term “Russian interference” began to refer to both cybersecurity issues and a more general, intensely politicized attempt to cast doubt on Trump’s legitimacy as president.

But it all ends today.

In a startling and unprecedented development, recently declassified documents have shown that the Obama administration politicized and fabricated intelligence following the 2016 election to create the now-famous story of Russian meddling. It is, as previously stated, a story that dominated  American politics for years, leading to investigations, impeachments, and division within the country.

Tulsi Gabbard, the director of national intelligence, declassified important documents this week that revealed what she described as a “treasonous conspiracy” by top Obama administration officials to undermine President Donald Trump’s victory over Hillary Clinton. According to the documents, the intelligence community has consistently determined that Russia was not trying to use cyberspace to influence the results of the U.S. presidential election, despite what the public at the time said.

A Timeline of Deception

On December 7, 2016, just weeks after Trump’s victory, then-DNI James Clapper’s own talking points confirmed that “foreign adversaries did not use cyberattacks on election infrastructure to alter the U.S. presidential election outcome.”

The following day, a Presidential Daily Brief (PDB) prepared for then-President Barack Obama, drawing on assessments from the CIA, FBI, NSA, DHS, and other agencies—clearly stated:

We assess that Russian and criminal actors did not impact recent US election results by conducting malicious cyber activities against election infrastructure.

Despite this, within just 24 hours, a White House meeting was convened to change the narrative. Declassified records show that Obama’s top national security team, including John Brennan, Susan Rice, James Comey, Loretta Lynch, and John Kerry, met in the Situation Room to begin assembling a new intelligence assessment that would serve a very different political purpose.

By January 6, 2017, a new Intelligence Community Assessment (ICA) was published, directly contradicting six months of prior analysis. It now asserted that Russia had interfered in the election to help Donald Trump, without acknowledging that this conclusion was based on unverified information, including the now-discredited Steele Dossier.

FBI and CIA Dissent Silenced

Fox News Digital obtained internal FBI communications showing that agency officials had drafted a dissent against the narrative being crafted. That dissent was ultimately suppressed, and the FBI warned the PDB should not move forward without addressing its concerns. Nevertheless, under pressure from the White House, the new ICA went public: politicized, misleading, and timed to cast a shadow over Trump’s inauguration.

The intelligence community had previously assessed that Russian activity was aimed more at undermining trust in the electoral system than altering votes. Also, no state’s official vote tally had been affected and, very important, that the level of cyber activity lacked the scale or sophistication needed to influence the results.

Yet the Obama administration persisted in telling the American people the opposite, even as agencies like the NSA and FBI expressed low confidence in the attribution that Russia had leaked DNC emails.

The Fallout: A Nation Divided

The consequences of this alleged fabrication were historic and deeply damaging. From a years-long Mueller investigation with no finding of criminal collusion, two impeachments of President Trump, and finally, to the erosion of public trust in media, institutions, and elections. Not to mention escalation of tensions with Russia and a precedent for weaponizing intelligence for political gain.

Tulsi Gabbard, speaking to Fox News Digital, did not mince words:

This is not a partisan issue… What we are dealing with is an egregious abuse of power that threatens the very foundation of our democratic republic.

A Call for Accountability

As criminal investigations now target former intelligence chiefs John Brennan and James Comey, it becomes increasingly clear that the entire Trump-Russia saga may have been built not on solid evidence, but on a narrative manufactured at the highest levels of government.

Gabbard emphasized that she is handing over all declassified documents to the Department of Justice, stating:

Every person involved in this conspiracy must be investigated and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

As of now, key Obama-era figures: Obama, Brennan, Clapper, Comey, Rice, Lynch, and McCabe have declined to comment.

Why This Matters

The findings shake the core of American democracy. If substantiated in court, this may represent the most serious political scandal in modern U.S. history, a deliberate attempt by one administration to undermine the democratic transfer of power by deploying national intelligence tools for political warfare.

In Tulsi Gabbard’s words:

Their goal was to subvert the will of the American people… and enact what was essentially a years-long coup.

The question now is not only what happened, but how America will respond. Will there be accountability, or will this moment, like so many others, be buried beneath political expediency and media fatigue?

One thing is certain: the American public deserves the full truth, unredacted. The future of the republic depends on it.
