Dubai, UAE – In an exciting new development that underscores Dubai’s commitment to sustainability and eco-tourism, the emirate has unveiled plans for the construction of its longest public beach. Situated in Jebel Ali, this expansive stretch of coastline is set to become a prime destination for both residents and tourists, offering unique opportunities to observe marine life, notably turtles, in their natural habitat. The master plan for the Jebel Ali Beach Development Project was recently approved by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed, Crown Prince of Dubai. This visionary project will see the creation of a 6.6-kilometer-long public beach, forming a key component of Dubai’s broader strategy to enhance and expand its public beach offerings. The initiative is part of the Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan, which aims to increase the size of the emirate’s public beaches by an impressive 400 percent.
